Best uses for the Fast Closure Sealant 20D

The Fast Closure Sealant 20D is a resilient and versatile product from Dexgreen. In this article, ways to use this sealant will be looked at.

This fast setting sealant cures to a yellow colour within 5-10 minutes, and has a graduated dispensing label on the container. The maximum single pour is 100ml which can be easily measured using the dispensing label. When using the sealant ensure that all cables and closure walls are clean and avoid contamination with grease. Uses for the Fast Closure Sealant 20D include:

1. Repair: Top up sealing of cable ports in all sizes of PVC, Legacy H/S OJ’s and Dexgreen Closures. Can be used as a repair top up for sealing air core cables which have been previously sealed with existing Sealant 10B or Epoxy.

2. New Cable Insertion: Sealing of new grease cables into PVC, Legacy H/S OJs and Dexgreen Closures.

3. Not to be used as: a water block in air core cables.
