Warren & Brown Technologies to tackle Harsh Environments with new connectivity solution

Warren & Brown Technologies Pty Ltd (WBT), a global leader in telecommunication networks and connectivity infrastructure, has signed a distribution agreement with US company QPC Fiber Optic Solutions, to supply its range of harsh environment and multi-fibre connectivity solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.

WBT has expanded its capabilities locally in Australia to provide custom manufactured multi-fibre assemblies, as well as repair and replacement services from its Melbourne based manufacturing facilities, which will provide fast turnaround times and quality products for its customers.

The new range of fibre optic solutions, which includes Expanded Beam fibre optic connectors and cable assemblies, are predominantly used in Harsh Environment applications, including Mining, Oil & Gas and Defence.

Expanded Beam fibre optic connectors are also one of the most common types of connectivity used for Broadcast applications. In addition, for broadcast applications, the Q-Seal is a Neutrik compatible 2 and 4 channel connector system, which can be also serviced from the Melbourne facility.
