This unit is used to help pass a pigtail or patchcord through convoluted tubing where multiple optical fibre cords have already been installed. It consists of an SC connector female half with a 3-metre flexible wire lead attached. The flexible wire lead is housed in a plastic tube to prevent accidental shorting out of non-insulated power conductors. Fibre strain is prevented from reaching unacceptable levels, as the connector will release from the installer before over tensioning occurs.
Standard version accepts standard or angled SC connectors
