The Ø16mm OD, flexible, convoluted tube is used in a HDODF to run and house 6 x Ø3mm OD [12 fibre] loose tubes, from the cable break-out point up to the nominated 2RU subrack. The tube provides a protection sheath for the housed and guided optical fibres .
