This back to back, hook and loop style fastener, provides a quick, simple, effective and permanent means of securing bundles of optical fibre cord/s together in a Subrack or FTF. They are used indoors. The fastener can be quickly released, for reuse. This fastener allows bundles of optical fibre cords to be installed around curves and bends safely. The fastening method does not provide a tight squeeze on a bundle of optical fibre cords, yet still provides a secure fastening method. Thus, using this fastener, is unlikely to cause a transmission circuit outage (e.g. loss), due to a high point loss, caused by “tight squeezing” of an individual or group of optical fibre cords. Each fastener features an eyelet and narrow end, to make a neat and permanent cable tie system, of up to about 50mm dia. Individual ties can be joined together.
