Thru Adaptor kit, red, SC splice for patch panel

This through adaptor assembly is used on a populated patch panel to identify which fibre cords are through spliced. Through splicing is typically needed for WWDM systems. The through spliced fibre does not have a connector fitted to it. This is achieved by the items being coloured red, which stand out against the other green or blue coloured through adaptors housed on the patch panel. A Ø2mm dia optical fibre cord is passed through holes in two dust caps, a red through adaptor and a red boot, as it travels to the splice tray. This item is supplied in a bag of 5 assemblies. This practice (typically) may be used on the Splice/Patch Subracks, supplied by WBT.
