This type of fastening tape can be secured together i.e. back to back fastening is achieved. The tape is used to fasten and secure groups of optical fibre cords, in a neat and organized manner in a Rack of OFDF. This fastener type will not cause over stressing of the housed optical fibre cords, thereby avoiding the generation of high point losses. The group of optical fibre cords can travel around corners at the MBR of 30mm, and still be held securely in a bundle.
