Underfloor mounting kit for HDODF

The Raised Floor Kit is used for installations where the HDODF has no available superstructure for support. The kit may also be used at seismic locations which also require the racks to be attached to the superstructure. The HDODF racks have not been tested for seismic installations. 

This mounting system is used to fasten a HDODF rack to a raised floor which in-turn is supported by a concrete floor. The HDODF is secured with 4 clamping brackets (part of the HDODF Mounting Kit) which are then connected through the raised floor to each M10 steel threaded rods with a M10 hex nut and spring washer. The opposite end of the rod is fastened to the steel bracket (100mm high) with a M10 lock nut (top) with an M10 oversize washer and then (under) a spring washer, an oversized washer and hex nut. The bracket is fastened to the concrete floor, by using a M10 drop-in concrete anchor (12mm hole into concrete) through the bracket’s central 16mm diameter hole and secured using a M10 x 20mm set screw and 10mm oversized flat washer. There are 4 Mounting systems per Kit.  

For seismic installations or other specific installation requirements the diagonal corners of the steel bracket may be used to secure to the concrete floor using 2 or more M10 anchors, M10 x 20mm set screws and oversized flat washers. 

 Alternatively, the bracket may be glued to the floor using suitable industrial grade adhesive. Tighten all nuts and screws securely. The HDODF is electrically isolated from the fastening system and concrete floor by the 4 plastic HDODF feet. The fastening should also be secured by normal means to the superstructure. 

This kit is also suitable to be used with all versions of WBT racks and most other racks on raised floors where required. Some other racks may need additional components to rack base.
